The Quest For History. The most anticipated bout of 2004.
Middleweight Kingpin Bernard Hopkins takes on boxing super
sensation Oscar Delahoya. Many thought Hopkins would simply
crush Delahoya the way he did Trinidad. This was not the case. It
seemed to be a boxing chess match as Delahoya was out boxing the
champion in the earlier rounds. During the second half of the fight
Hopkins put on the pressure and began going after Oscar. Half way
down the stretch of round 9 Hopkins landed a crushing body blow;
nearly breaking Delahoya in half. Oscar could not get up and it
became the first KO loss of Oscar's career. Hopkins legacy lives on.
