This fight was made in 2 weeks. Lewis was originally scheduled to
fight Kirk Johnson and Klitschko to fight Cedrik Boswell. Johnson
pulled out with an injury and Klitschko took his place. The fight was a
very entertaining one. Lewis had seen better days. Klitschko was the
much more effective fighter that night. He was getting the best of
Lewis and wobbled him a few times as well. However, with one lucky
punch (the side of the glove scraped Klitschko's eye) a huge gash
was open. The fight proceeded up until the 7th round when the ring
doctor determined that the fight need to be stopped. Klitschko was
ahead on all three judges score cards. Klitschko won the fans while
Lewis withered away into retirement.
