This decades mega fight. With all the promotion, hype, and trash talk could
this fight live up to everything expected. Not really, but still and exciting fight
nontheless. Delahoya put constant pressure all night while Mayweather did
his usual defensive style. Oscar tried to get a brawl throughout the fight but
Floyd had no part of it whatsoever. End the end, a split decision victory goes to
Mayweather. This does not diminsh Delahoya's Legacy as it seemed that he
was the one who put forth the effort to even make that night interesting. Floyd,
on the other hand still can't get the credit he thinks he deserves because he
has an unappealing fan style. Rematch?? Doubt it. Floyd did not do his part in
the fight to even generate fan interest in the rematch.
